Not so left out: The Mancorner

Source
The Mancave

The mancave - the male sanctuary and manspace - is now invading the modern wedding. The idea is to prepare a special hideout for the men in a separate space outside the main reception area, with cigars, poker tables, leather sofas, and all things a manly man might enjoy at a private manparty while the rest of the wedding guests suffer the tedious reception program. A lot of brides, however, find the idea of their grooms and male guests hiding behind the wedding mancave's sacred doors quite unappealing. Rude, even.

Free Invitation Stamp Template

Was getting started with our many wedding DIYs and decided to make these black and white stamps. They're purely for decoration though and won't be accepted by the Post Office. But the stamps are a pretty way to stress the importance of sending a reply to a wedding invitation.

Sharing these with you!

My First Fondant Cake

Here's my first attempt at cake decorating with fondant, in preparation for my DIY wedding cake. For his birthday, J was expecting a PlayStation 3 cake (which I found too easy and predictable), so I made him an all-edible (Starcraft 2) Protoss Nexus instead! Surprise! The end product reminds me of a 4th grade project but I guess it was okay for my first try.

Chinese Visa Application

Six of us grabbed these tickets from Cebu Pacific to Beijing, China off-the-cuff last June. It was easy enough.  Snag tickets, get a visa, and then go! For the next couple of months we were like, "Hello, Great Wall!"

But the Universe had other plans.
