Not so left out: The Mancorner

Source
The Mancave

The mancave - the male sanctuary and manspace - is now invading the modern wedding. The idea is to prepare a special hideout for the men in a separate space outside the main reception area, with cigars, poker tables, leather sofas, and all things a manly man might enjoy at a private manparty while the rest of the wedding guests suffer the tedious reception program. A lot of brides, however, find the idea of their grooms and male guests hiding behind the wedding mancave's sacred doors quite unappealing. Rude, even.

Now, all brides want to do something sweet for their sweeties, especially on that day when most of the grooms feel left out. We all want to give them something awesome to look forward to at the wedding, something special that he and his friends will enjoy and talk about. But we do not want them out of sight on that special day.

If you love the idea of the wedding mancave but think it should be left at home, then consider the wedding mancorner. It's a toned down version of the wedding mancave, much like a dessert bar or kiddie table but made especially for the men. To make it look like less of a trap, the mancorner can be set up tastefully like a lounge within the main reception area. Following the wedding theme and colors, the man-table can showcase the groom's cake, and include a friendly selection of man-things and man-favors the male guests can enjoy. This may consist of cigars, personalized mints, playing cards, and premium alcohol, depending on the groom's personal preferences.

Bride-friendly, isn't it?

Spice up the mancorner with a drinking chess board.

Give away personalized playing cards.

The possibilities are aplenty! For those willing to go the extra mile, instead of the mancave's poker tables and PlayStations, you can opt to rent arcade games or mini slot machines for quick games and extra mantertainment!

There's nothing wrong with a wedding being all feminine and girly. But there's nothing wrong with tweaking it a bit to accommodate the groom's tastes either. Such a fun wedding day gift for the groom! Yay for the wedding mancorner!
